• How will my home be protected from dust during a sand and finish or carpentry project?

  We use hepa vacuums with our sanding machines and negative airflow to push fine dust out of the home. When your project is complete every horizontal surface in the work area will be free of dust. Our dust collection prevents intrusion into cabinets and judicious use of plastic containment protects bookshelves and pantries.

• Does the base molding need to be removed?

  No. We use high quality sanding machines that allow us to sand right next to any surface. But a tool is only as precise as its operator; which is why we spend years training our team to treat every home with the utmost respect. We take pride in being particularly careful with stone work, tile, and painted cabinetry that is very difficult to repair or replace.

• How long does a sand and finish project take? When can I move back into my home?

• The answer to this question varies with the size and scope of the project. Generally speaking most natural color refinishes take four to five working days. Different finishes have differrent curing times. Our top tier finish is odorless and walkable the day after final coat. We recommend waiting a day to put back furniture and 72 hours before large pets are allowed on the floor.
